  4. huh, i am calm?

this seems like a meretricious attempt at garnering attention.

what is the point of reading a child killer's journal?

or are you too busy being superior to explain it?

  5. haha. well thanks for pointing out my superiorism. i think this can best be explained by harry potter. is there better shit kids could be reading and getting hype about and imitating and getting inspired to make videos about and go to book stores for... sure... im just excited someone read something and reacted to it strongly enough to reread it again for someone else. to each their own i guess is my point. whatever blos your head back and inspires you to do something creative. thats all i mean. and i'll support that forever...

  7. Okay, I think I understand now.

This post would have carried a completely different connotation if the title were: "FROM THE JOURNAL OF MURDERER, MELISSA HUCKABY," READ BY CATHERINE DUNKIN ZICKGRAF.

or ...READ BY THE AUTHOR CATHERINE DUNKIN ZICKGRAF.

The post as it is appears to be a skinny white chick reading a journal page from a child killer. The fact it was an original piece of writing was not obvious to me.

Which is why i asked. The answer i got was, "stfu jereme. You aren't intelligent enough to 'get' her art—the art of a child killer."

Hey man, i'm cool with Catherine writing whatever she wants. I just didn't understand why you were promoting the writing of a child killer. I see now that wasn't the case.

I do find it ironic you are promoting sympathetic writing for a child rapist/killer after vehemently disagreeing with the release of Roman Polanski.

Roman didn't stuff the tiny corpse of a once beautiful young girl into a black suitcase.

  9. you misunderstood how i meant the comment. i didnt mean "shut the fuck up jereme. you arent intelligent enough to get her art." i meant we all misunderstand things because the internet and blog comments and even chat and email... the internet as a whole is perhaps the shittiest form of personal communication that man has ever created and through this medium we will all misunderstand each other a lot. iys inevitable... i would never insult your intelligence. in my estimation you are an intellectual giant.

the polanski argument is different though. can we at least agree that fiction is a pretend. i write about molesting retarded children, i would never condone it. maybe that makes me a hypocrite... so be it.

  10. Wow on the misunderstanding. I'll take suggestions on a better title.

  11. the title is fine catherine. i like it a lot.

  12. also, catherine and jereme. that as my mistake. a costly typo i just fixed. it was a comma after murderer and i put a period and yes that makes a difference. my apologies.

  13. catherine,

don't be silly. it is a really good title. the video might benefit from a small setup. something like: catherine zickgraf reads an original piece.

unless you want people to be confused. i don't know what your motivation was when you created/named this piece of writing.

    barry,

yeah man. electronic communication sucks unwashed asshole.

yeah we can agree about fiction, but i think the line is blurred when you affix an living person to the fiction.

    it becomes political.

this piece would still be just as good, if not better, without the huckaby association.

  14. However (she says seven weeks later),

If a murderer wrote poetry like this, I'd read it.
